Wow...0/5 and I'm the saavy shopper in my family. Avocado costs $2.29 by you? Not on sale, here in NJ, it's about $1.50. On sale you can get each for a little under a buck. Interesting how demographic affects grocery prices.

Omg did you go to the Safeway on Church/Market? What a MESS--I couldn't find anything! They're totally remodeling, I guess. But everything was on sale, which was the upside. LOL I was thinking that all those prices listed sounded like steals. . .but then again I grew up in one of those place where just EVERYTHING is more expensive

The Shredded Wheat price is expensive! I think its expensive when it's regular price at $3.15! And the avocados are super expensive too, depending on where you go you can get them for about 75 cents! I'm glad I don't like there, I thought things were getting expensive in WI I couldn't imagine paying your prices.
